Our Story

Hi, I’m Jack, and this is the story of EK Autos. Running a workshop has never been just a job for me; engines have been my passion since I could first hold a wrench. My earliest memories are of weekends spent with my late Grandad, Ian. Watching him carefully maintain cars sparked a curiosity that defined my life, teaching me that every vehicle represents a person who relies on it.
Foundations and Training
To test my drive, I sought out the industry's highest standards while still in school. I gained invaluable experience at Paragon Porsche in Sussex, where working alongside elite technicians set my benchmark for precision and excellence. I later formalized my expertise at Crawley College to ensure I could handle modern vehicle systems with total confidence.
From Precision to Performance
My path then led to the high-stakes world of motorsport with SVG Motorsport. In racing, there is zero margin for error. I learned that first-time diagnostics and thorough preparation are vital—a level of scrutiny I bring to every car at our Hildenborough garage today.
A Professional Home in Hildenborough
After years of diverse experience, I’ve turned my dream of a permanent workshop into a reality. I built EK Autos to be the kind of honest local garage I’d trust with my own family’s cars. Here, you speak directly to the person repairing your vehicle. Whether it’s diagnostics, servicing, or repairs, I believe in transparency, quality work, and fair pricing.
A Legacy for the Future
This business is personal. As a father, I want to build something my family can be proud of, just as my Grandad inspired me. We’ve moved from mobile tools to a fully equipped Hildenborough space to provide the best care possible. From Ginetta racing pits to our local workshop, my goal remains the same: professional, friendly service you can rely on. By choosing EK Autos, you’re supporting a local business that truly cares. I look forward to seeing you soon.
